Finding a garden gate that is a perfect fit can mean that a custom gate is built to your exact measurements.

The majority of garden gates are built to a height of 6' and are 3' to 4' wide. We can also install twin leafed gates that are typically used 

As standard, your bespoke garden gate will include:

  • A site visit from us to measure the gate so it fits perfectly first time.
  • Galvanised gate furniture that includes hinges, latch and slide bolt.
  • Replacement of posts or wooden wall plate if coming off a building.
  • Removal and responsible disposal of existing gate.

Everything You Need to Know

As all our gates are locally sourced it is possible to make the gates up to very specific measurements with a low lead time.

As well as standard close board gates we can supply and fit:

  • Decorative gates with arch tops.
  • Tongue & Groove gates.
  • Hardwood gates.
  • Additional gate security (e.g. locks).

We do require a small deposit for custom gates as if the job is cancelled for any reason it is unlikely that we can find a use for a gate purpose built to your exact requirements.

Can you make a custom gate?

Yes we can. 

Many garden gates to properties are customised.

If you require a non-standard size or style, we will make bespoke gate to match your needs. This service will take longer and will include a small additional fee, but the results are well worth it.

Will my gate match my fence?

Most styles of fence can be matched up with a gate.

If the fence has been stained then the gate will also need to be.

For most gate installations we have a solution that will fit for you.

Do I need to treat my gate?

All wooden gates are pressure treated so will not require additional treatment for their lifetime.

However, over time the colour will fade.

To keep your gate looking attractive we recommend applying a good quality exterior woodstain.

Can my gates be automated?

Driveway gates are suitable for automation although some modification may be required.

We work with a specialist automation installer and a quote can be provided if required.
