Considered a neighbour friendly style as the vertical pales allow for visibility through the fence and a fence height that is usually at the 3-4' mark.
It is also useful for partitioning areas of the garden such as a children's play area or a place for pets to be contained. The gaps in the pales are small enough to prevent dogs or chickens getting through and there is always the option of attaching chicken wire.
Matching picket gates are simple to install in a matching style and are popular as pedestrian gates to properties. If you need vehicular access, the gates can be installed as twin leafed gates with a centre drop bolt.

Picket fencing usually comes in a pine softwood that is pressure treated with a green or brown finish. Other wood and vinyl picket fencing is available and we can discuss this if you'd like to get in touch.
For custom requirements we can make the panels on site at any height, although the maximum height is generally 2 meters or 6'6" for domestic installations.
Similarly we can construct custom gates to your requirements.
A close variant of picket fencing is hit and miss style fencing whereby the pales are alternately nailed on each side of the rails. This option provides much more privacy.
If you would like your fence painted or stained, we can provide a quote for you which is based on coverage area. The fence will be painted or treated prior to installation and we will advise on the correct products for a high quality and long lasting finish.
